Not just that - also meeting dancers and pedagoges with whome I worked on workshops and trainings were all in a way 'made in the West'. In that manner I could say that Slovenia has been a part of this big contemporary art map for many decades now - not in whole, but getting more involved as a whole every season. But beside some events happening in Belgrade or Croatia, I was never driven to investigate what is happening southern from us. But a sudden change of my lifetime path drove my heart and body so therefore my attention as a dancer to the 'balcans'. And I started researching what is happening in the lands 'down under'....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

European Union brought this central european awarenes in all of us, giving us equal opportunities to travel and work in other countries. Probably I got it trough stories of my relatives or it runs trough my veins a bit. This Slavian connection in blood, language and culture. Eventhough in this period question about my national and cultural identity is becoming the main topic of my daily agenda I wish I'll be able to nurture and create in the Bačkan scene in the future more...
